How to add a business to the directory
To add a business to the Directory you must be a registered centralcoastpage.com user; and you must be logged in to the site.
On the top menu - mouse over "Central Coast Business Listings" and then choose "Submit Business Listing" from the pop-out sub menu. The "Add a New Business Listing" editor will load.
Please be as complete as possible with information in the form items. A street address, city and zip code are necessary for the mapping function to work properly. The items with a red * are required for your business listing to be considered and approved. All user submitted business entries are verified with the person listed as contact before they are approved for public access.
Choose a category for your business from the drop-down menu. If a category for your busines type does not exist choose "Un-Categorized" and a suitable category will be created by the site administrator when the submitted information is verfied with the business contact.
Use the "Description" editor and toolbar to enter a description of your business services or products. An example would be restaraunt menu items, or a description of some specialty retail items or services performed.
Upload a logo for your business - click on the "Choose File" button, then browse to the logo file on your computer. The file format should be .jpg or .gif and the size can be 150 pixels wide by 150 pixels tall or smaller.
To add a picture to your listing- Place the Cursor at the place in the description body where the picture should go. (Hint: this works best on a new blank line above or below a paragraph.)
