FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE OCTOBER 6, 2010PASO ROBLES, CA ROCKIN’ R WINERY ARTS FUND-RAISER DURING 1st ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION Rockin’ R Winery is hosting its second annual “Rockin’ Stomp 4 Arts”, a fund raising event to benefit local art associations, on Saturday, October 16, 2010, from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. For a suggested donation of $5 per person, visitors can remove their shoes and socks, roll-up their pants or skirts, and experience the feel of traditional pisage (foot crushing) of grapes for as long as their heart desires. (Stairs and cleansing rinses will be provided for both entry and exit). Kids are also welcome to attend this fun family event, and participants will be photographed in action. Proceeds from this event will go to ARTS Obispo (San Luis Obispo County Arts Council), Paso Robles Art Association, and other local arts groups, while the resulting finished wine will be donated to these art associations to be offered at future fund raising events for the arts. Rockin’ R Winery is also celebrating the First Anniversary of its winery and tasting room, October 15 through 18, in conjunction with the Paso Robles Harvest Festival. Music, Tuscan food specialties, and R-exclusive “Super-Roblan”(tm) wine tasting will be ongoing during the weekend. Artworks by Paso Robles painter James Alberter and Los Osos sculptor Randal Johnson, crafts by Lil2E, chocolate and baked goods by Michele Emeterio, and the works of other local musicians, artists and craftsperson will be on display and available for purchase throughout the weekend. Grapes for “Rockin’ Stomp for the Arts” are being kindly donated by Sculpterra Winery and Sculpture Garden (5125 Linne Road, Paso Robles). All facilities, equipment, labor and wine making are donated by Rockin’ R Winery.
